It's been there for a while now. They reallt need to VAC ban gmod pirators.

Yeah, they should. If they can't afford $15 bucks, how in the world did they get a computer to begin with.
If VAC wasn't picky 'bout their anti-cheat guidelines, they probably would have done it already. I wanna think I read an article that basically said that VAC will only prevent what they consider is cheating, but won't stop anything hack related or piracy related. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Its more than $15, you need hl2 too.
VAC is fine, but I think how they won't let you lift that on the grounds that you never did cheat (false positive) is kind of stupid...
But Its kind of hard to pirate Steam games, imo....

Nah, you can buy Gmod($10) + HL2:DM ($5) and you're good to go. That's what I did, played for over a year with absolutely no source games minus the base for HL2:DM xD.
